School Advisory Councils (SAC) were established for parents and business leaders to work together with school staff and administrators to ensure the success of local schools. The primary role of the School Advisory Council (SAC) is to assist the principal in developing and evaluating the School Improvement Plan. At Dommerich, we also focus on finding ways to support the teachers and administrators in their quest for providing the best possible education for our children. Parents, SAC meetings are the place for you to learn more about what is happening inside the classrooms, current trends in education, new legislation and school board decisions, and much more. The Dommerich SAC is a group of parents, faculty, staff and community members working together to do their part in helping to shape Dommerich into a community of learners. Any interested parents and teachers are invited to join the SAC, making a commitment to attend the meetings. You are also welcome to attend any meeting, which interest you without becoming a voting member.
