Meet Coach Brian LeBoeuf

Coach LeBoeuf has been teaching at Dommerich his whole career.  Growing up he participated in several sports including soccer, basketball, wrestling, martial arts and powerlifting.  Before working at DES Coach LeBoeuf taught Martial Arts for many years.  His favorite sports to watch are basketball and hockey.


Meet Coach Evan Meewes

Coach Meewes is not only part of the Dommerich team now but also a DES alumni. He grew up in Maitland and participated in several sports such as soccer, martial arts, rock climbing as well as track and field.  Coach Meewes enjoys playing soccer the most but is a fan of all sports.

  • Making health and fitness be a fun part of every student’s live.
  • Helping build confidence in each individual student.
  • Building a team/family atmosphere where everyone learns and has fun together.
  • Creating a fun active learning environment.

 

What is Physical Education?

The aim of Elementary Physical Education (PE) at Dommerich is to teach students to develop healthy living habits and skills that will last a lifetime.  To achieve our goals, we have students take part in a wide variety of activities, sports, and challenges that will increase their physical, social, and mental abilities, as well as teamwork and cooperation skills.  We strive to provide a fun, safe, and motivating class that will encourage students to participate and try their best.

  • February – Chiefs on the Run 5k
  • February – Kids Heart Challenge
